Nowadays there is a delusive discussion on vegetarian meal. Of them Indian diet is welcome diet for the health.We have all vitamins in the vegetables, proteins in the dal, carbohydrates, fats, all minerals in the roti , rice or chapati.

We are making our food 2 or 3 times. Never eat stale food. Every time we make fresh food. Of them Dal rice is famous food here. Kids and every person have the favorite passion of eating Dal Rice. After eating like this dish we feel completely satisfy. Some people have to drink to get the sleep we can sleep comfortably with it.

Let us check here how did we have made today’s dish?

INGREDIENTS FOR IT

Toor Dal : 250 gm

red tomato: 1 chopped

coriander: 2 tbsp

hing : 1 pinch

oil : 2 tbsp

cumin seeds: 1 tbsp

mustard seeds: 1tbsp

red chilly powder: 1 tbsp

turmeric powder: 1/2 tbsp

salt: 1 tbsp

Method to make it : Cook the Dal and Rice in the cooker for 30 minutes.

: Remove the tiffin from cooker, add turmeric powder, salt to it.

: Cut the tomatoes to fry and keep aside, keep 1/2 lit water to boil to add the dal.

: Now crush the Dal with whisk , make it as like paste.

: Add hot water to it, keep the pan on the gas. Pour oil to it. Add cumin seeds, mustard seeds, pinch of hing and wait to splutter it.

Add chopped tomatoes to it. Fry it well. Add red chilly powder and stir it well. Now add hot water to it, mix cooked dal and stir it well.

Heat it, till to get it slight boil.

Here I have made 1 Indian meal Thali in it , I have shown Rice, Papad, Pickle, tomato dal, salads, along with chapati.

INSTRUCTION : Keep Dal and Rice to soak for half an hour before to start cook.

Avoid to boil more times Dal . As it can reduce taste of it.

Making curd rice is everyone’s skill. It is different at different places and home with everyone’s choice. Anyway everyone’s purpose of making any item is, it must have to become tasty or delicious.

There are so many ways to make it. But I have made in the following way.

In India there is a say that, if we will eat curd in the evening or at night it causes so many problems in our body. It may be cough, cold, body pain, acidity, any digestive problems. Ayurveda says if we will eat curd in the evening it can bring poverty in the home. So avoid to eat it in the evening.

This curd rice we can make in the summer season , as it gives us complete cool feeling along with fulfill satisfaction. It can work for weight loss, healthy for diabetic patient. Good medicine for piles.

INGREDIENTS FOR IT

Cooked rice : 1 dish

sugar powder : 2 tbsp

Curd : 50 ml

green chilly pieces : 2 tbsp

baked peanut powder : 20 gm

cumin seeds: 1 tbsp

mustard seeds: 1 tbsp

oil : 1 tbsp

hing :pinch

Method To Make It : Take 1 dish cool rice.

Add peanut powder, salt, sugar powder, curd and mix it well.

Add curd and sugar as your convenience. Mix it properly.

Now keep pan on the gas , pour oil to it, add cumin seeds,mustard seeds and wait to splutter it. Then add green chilly pieces , stir fry it.

: Pour it slowly in the curd rice.

INSTRUCTION TO MAKE IT: Take cool rice to make it, as if you will add curd in the hot rice, it create poison. Take care that not a single drop of water will carry along with any appliances while spluttering, as it can create explosion.

By mistake my pan carry a single drop, and it had created explosion but I have handled it wisely creating without any fear.

INGREDIENTS FOR IT

Rice 100 gm

Moong dal 50 gm

cumin seeds 1 tbsp

mustard seeds 1 tbsp

salt 1 tbsp

turmeric powder 1 teas

garam masala 1/2 teas if you like

coriander 2 tbsp

Oil 2 tbsp

curry leaves 4 to 5

A paste of garlic, green chilly and coriander 1 tbsp

PROCEDURE FOR IT : Take the Rice , Moong Dal, wash it with clean water and keep to drain it.

Now keep the small cooker on the gas Pour oil to it, wait to heat it.

Add cumin seeds, mustard seeds and wait to splutter it.

Add curry leaves and saute it well .

Now add 1/2 lit water to it. Add salt, turmeric powder, sugar to it , Wait to boil it.

Now add Rice, Moong dal and stir it well. Add coriander to it .Add paste of green coriander, garlic and green chilly.

Keep the lid of cooker tight .

Take 3 whistles and put off the gas.

Your well known tasty, delicious Khichadi is ready to eat now .

This drink is famous in India. Generally, it is making in the summer season, as it gives relief feeling after drinking it. It is cold, tasty  and acts as a health remedy also. It can make easily, there is no need for so many appliances and time. If any guest came instantly we can make instead of another cold drink.

It is rich in calcium, making digestion easy, removes the problem of constipation .if anyone is suffered from piles he must have to drink this drink every day especially in summer. Buttermilk   1/4 lit

sugar   2 tbsp

salt   1 tbsp

cumin powder  1 tbsp

black pepper powder 1/2 tbsp

Hing  1/2 teas

coriander   2 tbsp [chopped ]

ginger  1/4 inch

oil  1 tbsp

cumin seeds 1 tbsp

mustard seeds 1 tbsp

PROCEDURE FOR IT :   Take the buttermilk of given quantity.

: Make powders of cumin, black pepper powder and keep                                                                  aside

: grate the ginger and keep aside

: Now add all these ingredients one by one and stir it well.

: Keep the small pan on the gas.

: Pour oil to it , add cumin seeds, mustard seeds in it and wait to                                                            splutter it. Add a pinch of hing to it.                                                                                            : Pour this live spluttering oil into the buttermilk .
