How to make carrot , tomato Koshimbir- Kids Recipe Marathi

In our India we are eating salads in a different way means by making ”Koshimbir ” of it. How much vegetables you want to add you can mix it. But, it must have delicious taste. It can be serve with roti, chapati or rice or you can eat it as it is. Small kids are eating it happiliy. They didn’t need anything with it. I think this recipe is special for kids. If you wil make this recipe infront of them then, they can make it themselves , there is no need to teach more for it. Benefit of this recipe is it didn’t need to burn the gas so that kids can make easily and eat any time.

INGREDIENTS FOR IT:

Carrot : 250 gm [small pieces]

tomato: 1[ well chopped]

Yogurt: 2 to 3 tbsp

salt : 1/2 tbsp

sugar: 1 tbsp

red chilly powder: 1/2 tbsp

cumin powder: 1 tbsp

salt: 1 tbsp

METHOD TO MAKE IT: Take the carrots , wash it carefully by rubbing with your hand. As it covers a lot of mud, dust, germs , etc.

: Make the small pieces of it and keep aside.

: Now keep ready all remaining ingredients as like salt, sugar, red chilly powder, salt, peanut powder, etc.

;Keep cream of Yogurt ready , how mush you want.

: Now take the container, add tomato pieces, add remaining ingredients one by one .

: Now add carrots and Yogurt as you wish. Stir it well. It gives complete delicious taste. Serve it with Roti, chapati, rice or you can eat it as it is.

INGREDIENTS FOR IT

Carrot 3 big size [well chopped]

Fenugreek leaves 2 bowls well chopped

coriander leaves 2 tbsp

gram dal pieces 1 bowl [soaked ]

Oil 1/4 bowl [small]

mustard seeds 1 tbsp

cumin powder 1 tbsp

garlic paste 1/2 tbsp

garam masala 1 , 1/2 tbsp

chilly powder 1 tbsp

turmeric powder 1/2 tbsp

salt 2 tbsp

water [hot] As your convenience but to cook the dal must need 3 bowl water.

PROCEDURE FOR IT. : Take the washed carrots , cut it in to small pieces and keep aside.

Cut the Methi and keep aside .

Keep the GramDal tukada to soak half an hour before making subji .

Chop the coriander and mix it in the Methi leaves .

: Now keep the pan on the gas, pour oil to it , add mustard seeds and wait to splutter.

Now slowly add pieces of chopped carrot and Methi leaves and stir it well.

Now add soaked Gram tukada dal to it , add garam masala, chilly powder, salt to it.

Stir it well , add hot water to cook the dal well .

Keep the lid on it to get the nice steam .

Now put off the gas your well prepared Carrot , Methi Subji is ready to serve .

Serve it with chapati or Roti , it gives good taste with Jowar Roti.

Hi friends since last week I  am deciding to make carrot pickle , but no time to make it . In our childhood village ladies were making it . But they called it Gajrachya Usarya  and how did she make you know? She dig out carrots from the field and wash it in the river water . Cut it ,apply salt, chilly powder and some masala to it, keep it as it is in the hot Sun and saying we are keeping it in the earthen pot by applying salt to it and we are eating it any time in the year. It gives very nice taste .Some ladies are not applying salt they are keeping as it is in the earthen pot .

lemon    1/2

salt   1 tbsp

cumin powder 1 tbsp

hing    1 pinch

mutter  2 tbsp

chilly powder 1 tbsp

PROCEDURE  FOR IT  : Take the carrots , wash it with clean water, 

                                                    :  Make it’s  finger like pieces & keep a side . 

                                                   : Now take mutter, lemon, hing  in one thali * keep aside 

                                                 : Add chilly powder, salt, sugar, cumin powder ,mustard dal                                                          and pinch of  hing to it . 

                                                 :  Add lemon juice to it & stir it well , now squash lemon                                                                    juice to it  and stir it well.

                                                : Fill it in the jar and serve it with roti, chapati etc.
