INTERESTING FACTS ABOUT OATS : In my childhood in our village it was grown by plenty of sacks. At that time we didn’t know its value. Only we say it as ”Java” and these are using only on ”SHIVLINGA’ in Shravan Month.

At that time my mother was grinding it to feed the animals as like cow , buffalo, Bullock etc and she was saying that it is very good food for the animals. They are giving us a lot of milk to us. If anyone has a lot of pain in the waist she tells to them ,”Make Oats Ladoo and feed her , it will overcome easily pain and all health problems.” But she never had made any type of food for us.

As to make its food is very hard means it has to soak in the water , then dry it , grind it , etc . Still it will give good taste or not didn’t know . And I think noone has been eating this type of food at that time . Now see how much importance has been come to this food?.

Now also if it is getting by mistake in the wheat we are keeping it aside. Never mix it with wheat to make flour. Old ladies tells that it can make chapati hard.

In today’s life Oats is easily available in the market. We can make Upma or so many breakfast recipes from it . So many are using it but, they didn’t know what’s its properties? How to use it? What are its benefits to keep our health better. Which problem it is removing? How can we use it , etc

Here are some its good properties.

It contains all constituents which are good for us. It is not only super food but we can make so many food items tasty with it. So you can start your day by eating OATS. You can add so many flavors along with it. So that today’s dietitian are giving more priority to the Oats.
