Let us celebrate Holi with this Bhojan

Holi is the celebration of Maharashtrian people at the harvest festival.As in this season in every field, there are full of crops heap. Everyone is busy in cultivating their crops. It is generally celebrated with full of enthusiasm Bengali people.They are making a lot of sweets, some new recipes with their tradition.

Let us we shall make some traditional recipes for it.

First, we shall take Higreev. Higreev is the food which can make from Puran. It can tell dessert also in some area of Karnataka.It can make as a prasad of Guru.

INGREDIENT FOR IT

Channa dal  * 1 bowl

jaggary          :   1/2 bowl

Almonds           : 4 to 5

cashew nuts :      4 to 5

ghee              :    2 tabs

milk                   :    1 cup

PROCEDURE FOR IT :  Keep the channa dal  to cook in a small cooker

:   Take  3 to 4 whistles of a cooker .

:   Grate the jaggery & keep aside

:   Add jaggery to it & grind it

:  Take keep all this mixture to condense in the pan

: Keep the pan on the gas & stir it well

: It will start to become liquid again start to keep stirring                                                     while heating.

:   Now it will be condensed & start to become solid.

CONDENSED SOLID PURAN

 

 

: Now take a sufficient amount of Puran to make higreev .                                                      : Add pieces of almonds, cashew nuts & cardamom powder

: Add milk & stir it well, pour some ghee on it while serving

Time for pakode :

Channa flour: 1/4 kg

ajawine              : 1 tab

chilly pieces: 10 to 12

salt: 1 tab

chilly powder: 1 tab

hing: 1 pinch

turmeric powder: 1 teas

Oil: 1 big bowl

PROCEDURE FOR IT :    Take the given amount of channa flour in a  big bowl

:    Add all ingredients one by one.

: Mix all ingredients carefully with your hand.

: Add water to it slowly.

: Mix it properly to make its paste & keep aside.

PASTE FOR PAKODE

 

: Keep it to soak for a while

: Meanwhile, we can make a preparation of Puran Poli.

: Now keep the pan on the gas, pour some oil to it, wait to heat it .

:  Fry pakode one by one in the pan & keep aside.

INGREDIENTS FOR PURANPOLI

Prepared puran : 2 bowl

wheat flour       : 1/2 kg

salt                    : 1 pinch

oil                         : 1/2 bowl

PROCEDURE FOR IT :   Take the wheat flour in the big bowl

: Add slowly water to it.

: Knead it carefully, to make a fine smooth dough

: Make its dough  & add Puran to it.

: Keep it tightly closed & roll it with light hand means                                                            slowly.

: Bake it on the tava by applying oil on it.

TODAY I HAVE SERVED ALL BHOJAN  IN A  THALI
