To make Allu Vada we have to make first Allu SUBJI
Here is the way to make Allu Subji
INGREDIENTS FOR IT
Allu : 2 to 3 big size
onion : 1 [chopped]
green chilly : 4 to 5 chopped
coriander : 2 tabs
oil : 2 tabs
ginger : 2 tabs grated
garlic paste : 1 tab
cumin seeds : 1 tab
Mustard seeds : 1 tab
salt : as u wish
chilly powder : 1 tab
turmeric powder : 1 teas
curry leaves : 4 to 5
PROCEDURE FOR IT : Boil the potatoes in the cooker & remove its peel ,
: Cut it in to middle size square shape & keep aside
: Keep ready all ingredients that is chopped onion , garlic paste, coriander, chilly powder, salt, cumin powder, mustard seeds, hing , curry leaves
: Keep the pan on the gas , pour some oil in to it , add cumin’s, mustard seeds, & wait to splutter it .
: Add hing powder, curry leaves , onion , green chilly, paste of garlic & saute it well .
: Add chilly powder, Garam Masala , salt & again saute it
: Add pieces of potatoes & stir it well ,keep lid on it . Wait to get the steam .
: Add coriander on it & keep aside.
INGREDIENTS FOR PASTE OF BASEN FLOUR
Basen flour : 2 bowls
ajawine : 2 tabs
cumin powder : 1 tab
salt : as you wish
turmeric powder : 1 teaspoon
Hing : 1 pinch
PROCEDURE TO MAKE PASTE : Take basen flour in a pot , add all ingredients in it. Mix it properly .
:Take sufficient amount of water in a jar : Add it slowly in the flour : Stir it continuously while adding water & keep aside
: HOW TO MAKE VADA? : : Keep pan on the gas , pour oil in to it , wait to heat it
: Take small amount of Subji in a hand .Add it in the flour
: Dip it in the flour well & slowly pour it in the pan
: Continue this process one by one.
: Now fry it well & serve it .
